The Fragrance Of Mango Blossom
Ambemoar rice is a short grain rice grown in Maharashtra. These rice grains are grown with organic conditions without chemicals and are sourced from certified farmers. It is known for its flavour and aroma of mango blossom and thus the name, which literally means the fragrance of Mango blossom. It is an age old traditional rice with a geological tag to the Mulshi area of Pune.
Ambemohar rice variant is a rich source of energy, vitamins, and minerals like iron and calcium. It is rich in fibre and makes a great substitute to the chemically grown white rice available in the market. It is sticky in nature after boiled and has a sweet taste to it.
The sticky element of the rice can be removed by washing the rice 2-3 times. It’s sweet taste is pleasurable to kids and gives them a good fibre diet for easy digestion. Ambemohar rice can be used to substitute any rice dish, whether it is savory dishes or crispy dosas made from rice flour.
