Red rice is a type of rice which has gained popularity among the masses in recent times. It is unhulled or partially hulled, and has a red husk, unlike the more common brown rice. It has a nutty flavour unlike the polished white rice which makes it quite delectable to certain dishes. Although its consumption is more in south India, it has become a preferred substitute of polished rice for a lot of households.
This naturally produced Red rice is sourced from certified farmers of South India. It is a great source of zinc and iron, calcium, magnesium, B vitamins, manganese, selenium, protein, and potassium. It also helps in regulating Insulin levels as well as helps digestion. The red rice is perfect for weight watchers as the bran in it makes you feel satisfied for a longer period.
